siteplan2017

Following detailed discussions and workshops with local people, we have concluded that a new Heart should consist of a shop, café, play area and associated car parking.

Local resident, Heather Morgan along with the Morgan family, generously offered to donate a beautiful 4-acre site called ‘Morgan’s Field’. A new Heart on Morgan’s Field would serve both sides of Cradley and Mathon and would give people of every age space to walk, exercise and get close to nature.

The lower parts of the site, which include a brook, consist of flood plain. Our proposed building and landscaping will be located outside of the flood plain. It will be ecologically friendly, complement the surrounding countryside and do nothing to increase flood risk up or downstream of the site.
